Welcome to Heyday Inn, where good food and good company are at the heart of everything we do. Proudly family-owned right here in Wellington, Nevada, we’ve built our tables around Basque heritage and American classics — the kind of meals that bring folks together after a long day’s work or a Sunday with the family.
Stop by for a meal, share a story, and taste the tradition that’s been passed down through generations.
Start your morning the country way — hearty plates, hot coffee, and a side of warm hospitality. From hotcakes to country-fried steak, our breakfast is made to fuel a day on the ranch, the road, or just relaxing with friends.
Lunch Classics
When the midday hunger hits, we’ve got you covered with hearty plates that never disappoint. From juicy cheeseburgers to our famous ribeye French dip, lunch at Heyday is all about good food that fills you up and keeps you going.
Dinner with Tradition
As the day winds down, gather around for a true Basque-style dinner. Warm up with soups, savor fresh pastas, or cut into perfectly grilled steaks — all served with the same family-style hospitality that’s made Heyday Inn a Wellington favorite.

Host memorable events and private gatherings in our versatile space. Whether it's a birthday celebration, corporate function, or special occasion, our restaurant provides the perfect setting for socializing and enjoying great drinks and food.

Best restaurant in the area. Great food, drinks and service. Two big thumbs up!

Nice rural place to eat dinner with a nice ambiance. No waiting to be seated when we arrived. Bread and butter served after being seated.
The wait staff was very friendly and answered all our questions.
Food portions are quite large even for the sides and the food is tasty. I had a special of the day steak when I visited and it was the most tender cut of meat I've had in a while. Will stop by again.

This is one of the only restaurants in our valley and we are glad it is exceptional. We have been to the Heyday many times over the past couple of years, have taken many of our guests and contractors and have yet to have a bad experience. Food is fantastic (Sunday night's Fried Chicken is delicious and sought after so must be reserved in advance), service is great and the cocktails are awesome. We have yet to try the picon cocktail though but will soon. Highly recommend this historic restaurant.
